With Craft Central Gets Hitched: central London's homemade wedding fair launching this week, we would like to remind everyone about the food market that will be taking place alongside the event. Come find it in St. John's Square each day, Thursday-Sunday!
There'll be scrumptious street food from the following:
Tongue N Cheek
is a street food that puts a twist on burgers and sandwiches. I am looking forward to trying one of their well known burgers, the heartbreak burger. It is made from 50% beef and 50% ox heart and is reviewed to be very tasty and flavourful.
Coopers Beans and Leaves
is a mobile coffee van offering gourmet coffees, lattes, cappuccinos, and americanos. Being a caffeine lover myself, I can't wait to try one of their flavoured lattes. They offer espresso with either a shot of vanilla, caramel, hazelnut, or gingerbread syrup. And these Mars Bars Flake Cakes and Snickers Crispy Cakes look particularly enticing!
Bhangra Burger
is a street food offering handmade Indian spiced burgers served as wraps in flatbread and covered in homemade chutneys, pickles, and salads. I will be trying their crazy lamb jalfrezzi burger.
Buen Provecho
is an authentic Mexican street food restaurant. I am looking forward to trying their Tinga dish which is a chicken dish with chorizo in chipotle sauce.
Rainbo
is a healthy Asian street food provider who donates 20p of every meal sold to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate child labourers. I will be trying their gyoza which is chicken and coriander; pork and pickled ginger; or shitake and tofu.
The food stalls provide the you with the opportunity to sample possible wedding food options, but also just to feed you, might you get hungry while you're out and about! Craft Central Gets Hitched will be a great event to come shop, finish some planning for your special day and now have some amazing food. Don't miss it!
