Sherlock & Ali Miller sitting on a tree...................

Ali Miller's lovely ceramic pieces were featured on the popular BBC drama 'Sherlock' starring Benedict Cumberbatch. During a key scene Sherlcok can be seen pouring his nemsis a cup of tea using one of Ali's exquisite tea sets.

The Age of Elegance is upon us

The Guildhall Art Gallery launches its latest exhibition 'The Age of elegance' which runs from the 11 Febuary - 28th May. The show invites artist and designers the oppurtunity to showcase their works inspired by the portrait of John lavery's Wife. Craft Centrals designers participating include Orizu, Kate Hasted, Farah Qureshi, Katharine Warner and Rosemarry Lucas.

To commemorate this occasion, the gallery is hosting a late night view 'The Cats pyjamas' on Friday 24th Febuary 6pm-10pm. There will be music from the roaring twnties,as well as literature and entertainment provided by the 'Bright young Things. A pop up juice bar will be on hand selling specially designed decadant cocktails to kickstart the evening.
